Ellora’s Cave is actively seeking full-length manuscripts
for erotic romance novels. Manuscript submissions require a detailed
full-story synopsis, the first three chapters and the final chapter of your
manuscript VIA E-MAIL as attached files (in doc or rtf format). As they are
an e-publisher, they DO NOT accept paper submissions. They do not have a
required format; please just use a common serif font, reasonable page margins,
and single or 1.5 line spacing. They are looking for stories of 50,000
words or more. They do not accept short story submissions except from authors
who already have a full-length novel accepted by us. In regards to
previously published authors: they will only publish your out-of-print books
if you hold exclusive rights. The
royalty rate is 37.5% of Gross (that's the cover price) for single author titles
in e-book format. All manuscripts must contain sexual content and language
that is explicit and leaves nothing to the imagination. For more information,
check out Ellora’s Cave’s online submission guidelines at: www.ellorascave.com/writing.asp
And
speaking of Ellora’s Cave . . . they are currently in the process
of expanding their publishing content. You may now submit proposals
(known as pre-submissions) for their upcoming Non-Romantic Erotica line, and
a straight Erotica site. And even bigger news for the publisher is that they
are also accepting mainstream titles for their upcoming Fiction website.
