Renee Alexis

Renee Alexis is the author of many short stories published by Kensington’s Aphrodisia line and single titles with Genesis Press.  When she’s not writing spicy love stories, she’s engaging in her other ventures: teaching school and making gemstone jewelry.  Born and raised in Detroit, she graduated from Wayne State University with a B.S degree in education.  Although she loves working with children, her first love is writing.  Renee wrote her first short story in middle school, which was an excerpt similar to scenes seen on SNL (Saturday Night Live).  After that, she won contests in high school and wrote stories in college.  Only recently did Renee try to become published.  Her dream came true when Kensington decided they liked her work.  When she is not teaching or writing, she does book signings in the greater Detroit area and book talks for many local writers groups.  Her new title, Undying Love, is a February 2008 release through Genesis Press.  Be sure to look for it!  She loves the excitement and activity of urban living and loves hearing from fans.
