The Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America
was formed in 1982 as a non-profit local chapter of Romance Writers of America.
With a current
membership of over 90, GDRWA is dedicated to
promoting the romance genre, and to supporting and
developing the writing
goals of all its members.
Through networking, monthly
meetings, newsletters, conferences, critique sessions and contests,
we at GDRWA
work to provide a stimulating and
productive environment for both the aspiring and the
professional writer.

Shenberger/Amanda Brian Bio - Patti Shenber has loed writing since
forever (G) She lives in Michigan, is married with two grown children,
and one four legged companion. Patti loves writing in all romance
genres, as much as she loves reading romance. She is also multi-published
in both fiction and non-fiction magazine length work. A member of
RWA, GDRWA, GSRWA and MMRWA, Patti loves hearing from readers and
