Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America is a non-profit corporation affiliated with Romance Writers of America. As stated in our bylaws, GDRWA's purpose is to promote excellence in romantic fiction, to help writers become published and establish careers in their writing field, and to provide support for writers within the romance publishing industry. Membership in GDRWA is open to all persons seriously pursuing a writing career in the romance genre, as well as other related professionals, who are members in good standing of National RWA. GDRWA membership dues of $30 per year include benefits of all monthly meetings, voting privileges, the electronic newsletter and announcements of events. Associate membership is $15 per year and includes all benefits listed above except voting privileges and meetings, which are limited to six per year. Guests may attend one meeting free.
